Mobile Now TV Advice needed

We are thinking of getting this for over Christmas (for the sky movies)
How does it work?
Can it go through an x box?
Does it plug into the TV?
Do you need anything to be able to use it?
We have virgin broadband and basic tv in our living but we watch movies in the playroom which has a large TV & x box one. So can we use Now TV in the playroom?
Thanks

You buy a now tv box (on offer in lots of places at moment) and plug it into hdmi in tv then link it to WiFi and away you go.

You can buy a subscription on a month by month basis to movies/entertainment/kids channels and also you can do catch up to bbc/itv etc through it

We love ours, it’s replaced sky and Netflix for us

Depending on what tv you some smart TVs have the app

If you got the box then it connects to your tv via hdmi cable you can then get a monthly pass for movies ect as to connecting it to a xbox ai believe there a app you can down load from the app store on the x box

Wouldn’t it be cheaper to just add A cinema package to your Virgin pack for a month. Presumably Virgin are like Sky and Cinema can be on a rolling monthly contract. Seems a cheaper option than paying out for a NOW TV box if it’s only for the holidays.

We don’t have virgin in our playroom. The playroom’s sofa turns into a double bed and we all pile on with pillows & blankets watching a movie (Netflix) on Saturday evenings. So it would be a treat to have sky cinema over Christmas whilst everyone is off.
The living room is more formal and we don’t put feet up etc on that sofa or eat treats.
Now TV is half price at the moment but we don’t know anything about it lol

There are multiple ways to stream including via some smart TV's, Tablet, Laptop etc. Or via a dedicated device like a Now TV stick.
for example this link from argos ebay £19.99 for stick and 3 months cinema. These sticks connect to wifi to stream.
I also found the stick great for hotels as it fits directly into the HDMI.

But if you just need the pass check out CDkeys £5.99 for 1 month.
