Easy starters for Christmas Day help!

I want to buy some starters I can put on a tray that don’t involve cooking. I have enough to do without having to cook starters and my oven isn’t very big. Do supermarkets sell anything I can unpack and serve or something with a little preparation? Help please!

My husband loves prawn cocktail,I have done it many times and may well do it again. My son can’t eat prawns so I need something else for him, he would like sausage rolls but I haven’t really got oven space.

I enjoy prawn cocktail and haven't done one for years. So easy with mixing ketchup and salad cream as the sauce, but there must be a layer of lettice under the prawns.

Can't you make your son a prawn cocktail without the prawns?

My mum always does a king prawn cocktail.! She does not even make the sauce she just gets it from M&S. my sister and nephew hate prawns so they have two hard boiled eggs with the same sauce. She serves them all in a martini type glass. So they are all simple and all look the same. Plus it’s light so won’t spoil the main event.
I have had a prawn cocktail every single year 46 of them 😂😂

I do salmon mousse (bought), smoked salmon, prawns, smoked mackerel, and pates with crackers/crispbreads... just put it all out on a big tray or chopping board and help yourself...

I know how to make a prawn cocktail! , I need some fancy garlic bread for my son. He loves garlic bread, I can’t really serve him a lemon wedge, lettuce and sauce with bread and butter on the side, or can I!

When one of mine was little he didn’t like smoked salmon which was our tradition, I used to give him fishfingers instead which he loved...

I LOVE a prawn cocktail!
Or failing that some sort of terrine with crostini or rye bread?
