My niece and daughter are both quite fussy so the table service didn’t suit us really. We had the standard buffets. If we had no plan we would have just stuck to counter service or the restaurants in the Disney village. We went to Five Guys and McDonald’s for a lunch. We did book the evening restaurants in advance. If you don’t book then I am sure you will get a table but it may not be a restaurant or time of your choice. The character breakfast in Plaza Gardens was really good and worth booking.
I paid each way for the taxi with a small tip because the driver helped us with our bags. |

Thanks smilesonfaces...
I think it’s looking more and more likely that we will pay oop as DV seems to have a few places to eat. We are staying at SL so easily accessible. |

If you want a big buffet breakfast every morning, it may be worth paying as it’s very expensive OOP. However, if you want something light there are other options. New York Style Sandwiches does pastries, coffee, juice. Earl of Sandwich for hot bacon, egg & cheese rolls. Mac’s or Starbucks too. Annette’s does breakfast but doesn’t open early.
If you want non-Disney owned options like Rainforest Cafe, Mac’s, Five Guys, Vapiano - don’t bother with the dining plan.

I'm reading some reports on Tripadvisor about RStransports and they seem to be late a lot? This would be very worrying when getting back to the airport

Can only go from my own experience and they were excellent. Don’t forget people tend to only review on Trip Advisor when it is negative. There will be many many satisfied customers who will never write a review.
They did arrive at the hotel a day early for us. Received a phone call and we were in the park ! The driver arrived on time the day after. |

They were approx 5 minutes late for us. Traffic is crazy near the airport, don't forget. But not a problem.

We used ezyshuttle on our recent visit, they were great. John replied promptly following initial enquiry, texted us to confirm the day before both journeys, drivers were lovely and vehicles in excellent condition, would definitely use them again.
