When to download Lyft?

When would you say is the best time to download the Lyft app - now while we're still in the UK or when we get there? We head in just under 3 weeks and aren't hiring a car this time.

I know lots of people get initial signing-up offers with discounts off the first 10 rides etc but are these time constrained? So for example, if I was to download now, would I get a discount but only applicable if used in the next couple of weeks?

Would be grateful for some insight from those in the know - thanks!

Download here before you go and link to your credit card. I’m sure our offers were time constrained but can’t remember for how long - maybe a week? I’d do it maybe three days beforehand. We love Lyft and have used it in Orlando and Vegas many times with no issue.

I'm planning on downloading both Uber and Lyft the day before we go. If there's any refer a friend offers available I'll refer my dad and download onto his phone.

Hopefully between the 2 we'll have discounts on lots of rides over the fortnight.

We used Lyft for the first time recently. Downloaded it whilst we were there, I don’t think it really matters though, unless there are time limited offers in which case better to wait until you need it, i.e. when there.
