I always find the dates on them pretty good, in fact when they have sales on the website of season stock they state if the items are short dated. So I'd venture this is an Amazon supply problem.
I can attest after ordering reduced price short dated chocolate from them that it's still good past date lol. |

Had a email response saying they are refunding, no further comment about the dates etc. Thanks for your comments everyone. Now to sort my missing Next parcel.

Salted caramel vodka 😋 We had a free mini one with an order and decided to order a larger bottle for Christmas, along with some chocolates of course 😁

Amazon have sent an apology about the chocolates, sent me my money back and told me to dispose of the items and not send them back. Fair play to them.

I always buy direct from hotel chocolat, never had any problem with dates... could have been stored too long at amazon?
Personally I’d still eat and enjoy them...
