MK Fireworks from Cali Grill or in the park?

Hi! I have seen Wishes many times from inside the park but have not seen the new display. I'm really tempted to book Cali Grill and watch them from up there but am worried it might not be the same (I know I also might not see the projections on the castle).

What would you recommend?

We did them last week from Cali and they were wonderful but we have seen them multiple times now from the park as well . If you haven’t I’d be tempted to do a desert plaza view party instead to see them .

We recently did both. Sadly it was raining when we were in Cali Grill so we watched them from inside rather than the viewing terrace. What was interesting was just how far back from the castle some are launched from.

The winner for me however is a decent spot in front of the castle. Cali Grill could have been any fireworks anywhere. A decent day and from the terrace may be better.

The desert party is a good shout and I may give that a go the next time we go.

We did bot Cali Grill and Garden Desert Party last year and loved both for different reasons.

From Cali Grill we found you can easier see all the fireworks without having to look around to try and see them all, and with the lower number of people the audio was much less disturbed.

From the garden view desert party you get an amazing view of projections and a fairly quite standing area so your not sardine like in your experience.

When we go back we're planing on doing both again as they offer different experiences and can't honestly say one is better than the other.

We've done both and prefer it from within the park, it's a lot more immersive rather than being so far back. Like Ricky_Spanish said, they could be fireworks anywhere watching from Cali Grill.

Having done both last week, found the experience in the park to be much better

The projections are at least half the entertainment package of HEA.
All missed if outwith the park, although music is piped and good viewing of fireworks at Cali Gril or Grand Floridian.

If you can only do one, I would watch from inside the park.

When we were there in September we watched from Frontierland (I think). We had Splash Mountain and Thunder Mountain behind us and watched the fireworks over the steamboat on the other side of the water from the start of the walkway. There was nobody else there and it was brilliant. A couple of cast members walked past and said it was their favourite spot to watch them. It is only the fireworks though. Can't see the projections.
