Mobile Stores near Animal Kingdom Lodge

Morning,

Just wondering if anybody can
Point me in the right direction of getting to a Publix/Walmart from Animal Kingdom Lodge?

I’ve seen a publix close by but is it walkable? I don’t mind having a walk but don’t want to be walking next to the Interstate! Would I be better off with an Uber?

I’ve had a very last minute trip come up and the wife has asked me to pick her some bits up- I am unsure how much free time I will have (it’s a bit of a working mission so lots of meetings etc) so would like to make it as easy as possible.

Thanks

Nearest supermarket to AKL is the Walmart on the 192 down Sherbeth Road. There is also a Publix and Target a bit further along 192 west.

You would need to Uber.

If u look at a map u can see rolling oaks is v close.
If this is ur first trip be aware u cant walk anywhere. The distances involved are massive. Its v hot and v humid... too tiring.

Thank you- far from my first trip but first at AKL and first onsite. I google mapped to publix and it showed a walking route, but I suspected it wouldn’t be practical to do so.

Nothing walkable, but Uber maybe only 10min to Walmart depending on traffic to the new Walmart off the 192 via Sherberth Road

Walmart is your closest supermarket. It opened a few years ago and is across from Sherbeth Road by the Ramada. You will need to take a taxi though.

Target at Rolling Oaks is further away but not far. Target is usually quieter and is more upmarket than Walmart. We usually visit both though.
