Emerald Ring - best place to buy?

Hello fellow Dibbers!
We're off to Florida for our Silver Anniversary Road Trip in November. I would very much like an emerald ring to remember this occasion and was having a gander on-line. However, thought as we are going to be over there, would it be better to wait and buy one there? My budget is about £1000.
We're stopping at St. Augustine, Orlando, Dunedin, Capri Island, Marathon Key, Miami and then home from Tampa airport.
Any tips? I do like American jewellery

I had a beautiful Le Vian chocolate diamond ring from Macy’s in the Mall at Millenia. It was $1400 then reduced to $400..we also asked for the visitors 10% off which was a bit cheeky but they said yes straight away!
The staff were so patient as I had nearly every tray out and must have tried on most of them!
If you look on Macy’s website it will give you an idea of what they sell. But always look in store as the discounts can be huge. We’re going back for my birthday in September and I’ve already pencilled in a couple of visits 😉

I got a beautiful ring from JC Penney, got it well discounted
When we returned home I had this valued and got a wonderful surprise, so great all round
