Mobile Tipping at WDW

Morning,

How does it work with tipping at the restaurants? We are on QSDP, do we need to tip at quick service places? Also do you tip 15/20% for the buffet breakfasts or is that different?

Thanks

You don’t need to tip at QS menus as you will collect and take your food to the table yourselves.

There are no buffets on QS, as far as I am aware buffets are all TS.

There are a couple of QS that now have the "tipping" bug - Polite Pig I think was the one I read about the other day that has a section on the receipt asking about tip and they do bring your food to the table. These are few and far between however - Polite Pig and Geysers Point if you sit in the bar area are the only two that come to mind. Be Our Guest they bring the food to you but don't expect tips.

Sorry not made myself clear, we are booked into Crystal Palace and 1900 park fare which are buffet breakfasts. Do we tip the same as a full service restaurant?
Thanks

The bill will suggest the same percentages for buffet meals as waiter service meals. What you do with that information is of course up to you. Some people tip less at buffets, others think the servers actually do as much work if not more, so tip the same.

There is a great tipping guide on here which you can have a look at. I can’t link as I am on my phone, sorry!

For the two character buffets you have booked I would say yes. There will be a recomended amount on the bottom of your bill. I presume you would be paying out of pocket for the buffets as they are both TS? The only other QS I would tip at is Wolfgang Puck Express in DS.
