Kona Cafe on DDP

hey!

Does anyone know what you get for DDP at Kona Café in the Poly?

I've noticed it's only one credit but there is a huge amount of sushi and steaks on the menu...has anyone been?

thanks!

I went a couple of years ago. I have just looked at the menu and am wondering if it has changed as I don't remember it being like that. However, normally when I go to a place with a menu like that I tend to ignore the sushi, samplers and small plates and pick what is clearly a main. So on that menu I would pick anything from the sandwiches and burgers section onwards.

Edit: I should add, I don't know if that is the correct answer, it is just what I do as I have never worked it out.

For the actual food it was one of the best meals we had although that was before the new menu was introduced.

In terms of ambiance not so much.

It was really hectic, plus we were seated at the edge by the lobby where people were coming and going wheeling their suitcases.

I agree with you on the ambience, it was absolutely horrendous. So noisy and hectic and the tables were so close together the people at the next table, just joined in our conversation (which was fine but I mention to demonstrate how close we were).

It was also one of the worst meals we have ever had in terms of food quality. It was the old menu and I think I had duck, it was so bland, I don't even know how you make a duck that bland but they did, they maybe cooked it by boiling for 45 minutes or something.
