Or depending on how old they are , walk up the road to the Heathrow Bowl have a game of bowling and eat at the diner.

This is what we do too.

My Son and his Partner ate in that PI restaurant just over 2 weeks ago.

They said the evening meal was fine. No complaints whatsoever and good value for money as well.

They didn't book the Meal Deal as they had an early flight so left before the breakfast was available.

He said they would stay/eat there again.

I agree with Smithland and depending on the time get a cab and go to the Pheasant in Harlington, lovely lovely food! If you can get over to T2 on the shuttle bus there is a Weatherspoons in T2 pre departures where you can sit and watch the planes on the runway (I actually did this for lunch with a friend a few weeks ago as I love watching the planes lol)

We ate at the The Plough, Sipson road the last time we went out of Heathrow. It has an outside garden and served a decent meal, was good value for money. You can even get the bus there, the 222, which has a stop right outside the Premier inn. Takes about 10 minutes by bus. We did book a table to be on the safe side.

I agree with the other two posters for the pheasant inn, we walked there from PI in May was about a ten minute walk. Food was so good. Would highly recommend. I had the pie it was huge. Take a look on their website.

The food is OK there and portion size and price are reasonable.

We often take a wall down the road to the Tesco for snacks and water.
