Last time we had a corn snake in the lobby, frogs on the windows, lizards everywhere, it was great
Oh and also a grasshopper bigger than my hand, it was freakin' huge BTW the lizards are called Brown Anoles, perfectly harmless. P.S. Never seen a spider, I think everything else eats them all

On Sunset Lakes we have a few cheeky racoons, they especially come out and about when the bins are out, also a armadillo lives across the road from us. We have lizards on our pool frame which are fun to watch as they display to each other. Frogs always appear after the rain, but we do tell guests not to walk on the grass after dark due to possibly spiders, fire ants and the odd snake.
We also saw a snake at the end of the day in Typhon Lagoon, as it slowly went across a foot path. We just watched it go from one lot of bushes to another. We never like to scare our guests and to be truthful have seem more snakes away from our community. Melvin, Lesley, Simon and Carole

Last year I saw some nasty looking spiders hanging on the OUTSIDE of the pool netting YUK. This year we saw a racoon and armadillo at ASMu. Everytime, there are thousands of those little lizards. I don't mind them but my worst nightmare is snakes. I am soooo bad about seeing a snake. Well, this year I saw one at AK. It was the tiniest thing you have ever seen and was wriggling in a way that looked like it was just learning to wriggle but where there's a baby snake..its mum will not be far away . I did not hang around long enough to find out. I legged it squealing like a banshee, hands and arms flailing everywhere. I just can't help it...I am really freaked out by them. There was the tiniest of frogs that loved my car this year. It was on my roof/windscreen for a day and a half. Gawd it gave me the creeps. I'd have goosepimples getting in and out of the car in case it jumped on me. A frog jumped on DD's foot and she had to dance around to get it off...she thought it was cool

Yeah we had a cockroach in our villa, which I did not like and totally freaked out wouldn't sleep in the room again... Youngest dd went to the toilet in Hollywood studios I was holding the door for her and someone screamed hysterically I thought omg who is that and then realised it was my dd I couldn't open the door as she was hod behind it screaming... Managed to grab her totally shaking and a lady said she has just seen that bug... omg the biggest cockroach I have ever seen at least 1.5 inches long.. she was petrified someone eventually stood on it outside..No wonder she screamed poor thing had a fear of going to the toilet any time in the parks since then I had to check. I love the geckos though they are great fun..

Have seen lots and lots of lizards all over the place, but they shoot off so fast they are barely noticable. Have exterminated three cockroaches inside the villa so far with some Raid and noticed a few spiders with crazy spikey eggs/dead flies.
