I rang CS on Saturday and spoke to a nice guy, and managed to book a place for the 2nd August
I really didn't think we would get on it, after reading about how many pre-book events etc. Getting really excited about the trip now, just the though of seeing the kids faces makes me really happy. Just one more thing, having a chat with a fellow parent at DS football practice (who is over the same time as us for 3 weeks) and Im saying..."have you booked pirate pals... " "Have you eaten at California Grill and been on the roof..." "Chef mickeys..." "Boardwalk..." etc. He replied "What, who where..." Its amazing how much you can gleam from a helpful site like this as he is a Orlando regular but has never visited any of the resorts or was aware of what is on offer outside the parks. Just a big thanks to the Dibbers how help maximise our time there. |

Had never heard of this but think we also may look into it as I was thinking of the wishes cruise anyway but this looks that little bit different again.

I'm glad you managed to get it booked
Yes it is surprising people that are regular visitors to Orlando that don't know half what we on the Dibb do LOL It is great fun and well worth the money I think if your kids are old enough to understand the jokes etc. DS2 has severe learning difficulties and it was way over his head but younger kids about 5 seemed to really enjoy it. Sounds fantastic would love to do it when we go next year but the girls will be six & four when we go & the little one is still a little scared of really loud noises & fireworks although her big sister loves them. So does anyone who has done this think they are the right age to enjoy this?

I would say they are the right age but anyone above that age will enjoy it too, even us big kids.

We saw them leaving for this when we were staying at the Contemporary at Christmas and made me investigate it further. There are two boats so quite a lot of passengers.

Does anyone know whether you have to be a Disney Hotel guest to go this tour?
We are staying in a villa but I was thinking of booking this as a surprise for my boys. It sounds really good. Also can you book it online does anyone know? Thanks Maria |
