Mobile Phones/cameras & what to wear.

When it comes to the water rides, what are people doing about things like mobile phones? Do you keep them in your pocket or are you putting them somewhere before going on? Same with cameras?

So also the rain seems quite heavy in Orlando this year, I've realised this morning I have packed for quite a sunny vacation.
Vests shorts ect, what do people recommend including footwear

Phones on wet rides... Ziplock bag
Ditto small camera

Thunderstorms always heavy... we just get wet. It helps keep us cool. we wear Sketchers they dry really quickly. Or flip flops, then it doesn’t matter if you get wet.
We don’t use ponchos as we found we got as wet from sweat (yuk) inside them, as not wearing one, but the rain smelled much pleasanter

It rained yesterday but it was still warm enough for shorts and a T-shirt. I had on some sketchers sandals as wet trainers aren’t much fun.

I don't take my phone to water parks. I have a water proof camera which I keep with me.

I got sealable pouches for our phones that worked really well for $5 each at the $5 or less store on the 192 at Rolling oaks a few weeks ago.

Ziplock bag for water rides for the phones
Everything goes in lockers at water parks
The sketcher sandals are good footwear I have those, flip flops and sketcher go walk trainers which dry super fast.

The weather will be hot - you only need your summer gear.

I don’t mind the rain at all it cools us down and empties parks .. but I’m in Manchester so used to rain everyday. We have ponchos but rarely wear them as they are a pain to carry around with us.

I get to Orlando tomorrow.

Shorts,t shirts and flip flops. We have no fleeces, jackets, coats or waterproofs and never have done for Florida.

Phones will not be taken into water parks. On wet rides such as Dudley foright, they go in a ziplock.. For piccies, I have an Olympus tough TG-4. That goes everywhere .. including on the slides as it can fit in the pocket of my trunks.

We used lockers at universal - didn’t bother at Disney as our phones are waterproof anyway and you don’t get the full soaking - well we never have.

We take flip flops in our park bag and put them on before a water ride, then you can just put your nice dry trainers back on afterwards once your feet have dried off.

I usually leave my phone in a locker or with a family member, we have a GoPro but never really used it... It becomes a bit of a hassle sometimes!
Shorts , T-shirt and Trainers usually
