BALPA will read the judgement and then ballot it's member again taking into consideration the judges findings.

Just spoke to my cousin's husband (Qatar Pilot), he seems to think BALPA planned to strike the Aug bank holiday weekend (maximum exposure). This will also give BA and its' customers more time to make contingency plans (and BA to re-open discussions). Only pilot hear-say though...

If BA win the earliest a strike would take place is about 11th September.

Oh I have my fingers crossed for this outcome! We'd be home by then and we could enjoy our holiday without worrying!

A lot of stressed dibb'rs on today... But it's understandable with the strikes.
People have saved for a long time or planned for ages and looking forward to a well earned holiday.

No one wants it to affect them but sadly whichever date it is there is bound to be someone on the dibb it will be a problem for and that’s part of the reason I personally wouldn’t say I hope it’s this date or this month . I fly with BA on 22nd and am worried too - our holidays to Florida never seem complete without an issue or two so fully expect them to pick this date. I just hope the strike is called off so everyone’s flight is ok .

It doesn’t matter when this happens if there is a strike whatever days they choose there will be dibbers involved, everyone’s holidays are important to them. I just hope it can be sorted before it gets to a strike and they get back round a table to talk, and everyone can get back to looking forward to their holidays 😀

Us too Caro.

It's really spoiling the run up to a very long awaited, saved really hard for holiday. We were affected by the drone fiasco at Gatwick before Christmas too which meant we had to cancel lots of plans with friends and had 3 very sad, disappointed boys. Won't believe our luck if the strike is on 24th.
