Mobile 2021 Flights Astronomically Priced

I'm just entertaining myself doing a few dummy booking for next year to cheer myself up... I'm not sure if it is me but Virgin's prices seem absolutely ridiculously high. I'm not sure if it's just because they don't know what is going to happen but I can't see people booking flights that are x3 what they are normally!

What dates are you looking at? You may be too early...?

I never go onto the Virgin site and tend to use Skyscanner to gauge prices. I’ve seen very cheap prices for Feb and into March. I wouldn’t be expecting to see many bargains around for much later than mid March given Easter is a bit earlier next year.

They may be trying to put people off booking as they know they need to rebook lots from this year and already have smaller planes. If the seats all get booked then they would need to refund more passengers

Just about to book with BA on a flight + hotel package as great deals for April/May 21. Site showing Gatwick departures but confident it will be Heathrow by then.
I think Virgin are 'in a bit of a pickle' compared to some at the moment and my confidence in them for price and service, however loyal some of you might be, would be low.

Virgin are stupid prices. I was quoted £5000 for 4 flights from Manchester. I’m hanging on for BA as much more reasonable.

I have just looked on Expedia for random dates in each of January, February, March and April and the prices are excellent. Between £300-£500 with the £500 being in April just after Easter.
