Mobile Would you consider feb 2021?

So we were hoping to go back next year and as we have just lost our holiday to fuerteventura this year and as there seems to be some reasonable flight prices i am considering booking for feb 2021 over feb half term if i can get my annual leave approved. I know no one can know for sure but what are everyones general thoughts- still too early? I would be booking everything on a refundable basis so hopefully wouldnt lose money.

If you can book everything on a fully refundable basis, then I'm not sure why you wouldn't book (assuming you can get leave and afford it etc).

We've been each of the last two Februarys, booking just a few days in advance, and it's a lovely time of year to be there.

Agree if you book fully refundable then it’s no risk. If not my personal view is that this will still be rumbling on well into next year. I’m almost certain that WDW holidays as we’ve known them aren’t on the cards for a good 18 months+. That’s not to say I think it will be closed etc but the hassle free holiday where you’re free to do as you wish, mixing with people from around the world without a care is a long way off right now.

My brother loves going in February and he is forever telling me there is no queues and everything is more relaxed.

As for this virus I’m with “splat” (now there’s a sentence I never thought I’d write) this has the potential to go on for a long, long time. I for one would not feel comfortable going to one of the busiest holiday destinations in the world even if this pandemic is on the reverse.

Good luck whatever your choice 👍

i've just changed our Dec 2020 flights to Feb 2021 (14th-26th)...

However I am not booking anything else until I see how this is going to progress ...

Hopefully we will be able to go, but i'm prepared for it not happening

We went end of feb/early March this year. First time I ever had to wear a hoodie it got cold. Water parks closed atleast 4-5 days during our two week stint.

Would I go again in Feb - id maybe hold off and go June
But as people say make sure booking covered.

My April trip with BA was cancelled and fully refunded, so tonight I booked flights for Feb 2021 because they were such a good price. Will sort hotels and things closer to the time when things (hopefully) start to settle down.

Still waiting to see if my annual leave will be approved - do you mind me asking who you booked with and what dates you went with?

I've gone 2nd Feb - 13th Feb as that is as all I can get off work. Flights were £280pp direct MAN-MCO. Booked through Air France flying Virgin Atlantic & my booking is already showing on my flying club account. I chose the light option on the AF website but it's showing at economy classic with Virgin so I've been able to book seats for free.
