Mobile Universal annual pass direct debit

We opted to pay for our ap with universal over 12 months
We received an email this week to say they were not taking the direct payment out until further notice.
Do you think they will add the months not paid past the annual pass expiry date or will the last payment be at end of the normal term

I haven’t even received an email about my payments and I emailed them over a week ago and have received no reply.
I have no idea what will happen, although I’m inclined to believe our payments will cease when they were originally scheduled to. We haven’t even activated our AP’s yet so it all seems a bit of a mess to be honest. I’m just hoping we still get to go in December or I’ve paid over £1000 for tickets I’ll never use as we weren’t planning on going back next year 😢

If your AP has not been activated yet, then adding months is a non issue, as your AP only starts when you first enter a park.
it will still be 12 months from the frist time you enter a park

if your AP is activated, Universal will extend it by the number of days the parks remained closed during this crisis.

so basically, every active AP (used at least once) is currently on hold, the clock stopped ticking the day the parks closed, and will resume ticking on the day they reopen

(for those who want source for confirmation, it's all on the special faqs on the universal official website.)
