Very Old TV you’ve discovered during the Pandemic

During first lockdown I watched High Chaparral from start to finish. Currently I’m addicted to Gun Smoke and Perry Mason

Wow. I was 12 when we started watching High Chaparral. Good series.

Raymond Burr was awesome in Perry Mason in my view.

I liked Rawhide but I suspect my Wife wouldn't allow it even if it was on!

One morning happened to find Cheers. It was the very first episode from 1985.
For some reason I never watched this program when it was out but haven’t missed a episode yet.

Loved High Chaparral and Bonanza too

Preferred Raymond Burr in Ironside though - great actor clearly

Does anyone remember Macmillan and Wife?

Preferred High Chaparral to Bonanza , think it was slightly grittier.

Agree Raymond Burr was outstanding as Perry Mason. I also remember him as Ironside.

Gun smoke and Perry Mason are both CBS drama (134 on Freesat) weekday afternoons.

There’s two episodes of Gun Smoke starting at 12:55 followed by two episodes of Perry Mason straight after

Loved that, Rock Hudson and Susan St James. Also loved The Rockford Files, Cannon, Petrocelli and of course the show with the catchiest theme of all time. Hawaii Five 0.
Now I just need to find re runs of Taxi and Hill Street Blues
