American attractions tickets and link to MDE

How do I attach my Disney tickets from American attractions to my MDE account? Do I wait till tickets arrive ?

When they arrive I think that there is a silver strip on the back of the ticket that you scratch off and link the number to your MDE account.

Ok thanks ? I was in a bit of a panic as read on older post on here that some tickets can�t be linked unless direct from Disney ? Does this company just post ur tickets out once u order ? I don�t have to wait to nearer the time. I paid for them today

I got ours from American attractions. Arrived within about seven days. I paid up front.
Attaching tickets is as already explained. Scratch the silver panel off and enter code. Just a little note. It wouldn�t let me attach the tickets via the my Disney app on iPhone. I had to use the my Disney website to attach them.

Awh that�s reassuring to hear. Always worry case I ordered wrong thing or can�t link. Fab will look forward to them arriving and use the website

Very easy to do, once tickets arrives takes couple minutes and your set to go

Yes. American Attractions send out real tickets. They should arrive within a couple of weeks of ordering them. As already mentioned, you go onto the Disney website, log in, go to the Link Tickets page, scratch off the silver bit on the back of the tickets, enter the ID numbers and assign the tickets to the various people in your group.

Any Disney tickets can be linked in this way, no matter where you get them from. Disney doesn't actually send out tickets and only sends a confirmation email with the ticket ID number - you can link this to your account but you have to pick up your tickets at WDW. Some travel agents only provide the ticket ID numbers a few weeks before you travel, which can be a problem when prebooking fastpasses.
