HHN Favourite years?
This will be my second year attending Halloween horror nights and I was just wondering, for all those that have been numerous times before, what's been your favourite year and why?

2011 as it had 4 of my all time favourite houses
Nevermore - But I am a huge Edgar Allan Poe fan Wintersnight - It was genuninely very cold in there BloodnGutz - Lots of fun details and a very scary Abe Lincoln who got me every time Saw and Scream - A brilliant twist at the end of the house (which came out at Jaws) Mr W would say 2013 when they had the Walking Dead Take over, because of me and a walker in the loos, well more accurately I was in the loos, the walkers were outside and I couldn't get pass them... I am told it was very fun to look at

The Wolfman was one of my favourites, I think that was 2011 or 2012. The whole set was just amazing.
My least favourite was American Werewolf in London. The set was brilliant but I always hated the movie so being in the middle of it was a bit especially the subway I tend to like most of them as I laugh all through it. The Chucky house was hilarious! |

Oooh that's a hard one! My favourite maze ever was Silent Hill in 2012 but that's because I'm a huge fan of the franchise

Oh yes, 2012 was a good year too, loved Pen and Teller New(kd) and the only with the swinging gargoles or golums or something
Wolfman was 2012 and I loved the details on the fingers of the Wolfman We loved AWIL the first time round in 2013 but it was the same in 2015 and we didn't enjoy it as much. We also loved Cabin in the Woods in 2013

2009 for me. It was our first time and we had done no research so everything was a complete surprise to us.
The Saw house was my favourite that year. |

I LOVED American Werewolf in London! I love the film so feeling like I was walking through it was amazing. It was there in 2013 and I think 2015, I preferred the first time but both were great. Also, La Llorona from 2013 was amazing!
My favourite year was last year for a few reasons, mainly because I loved most of the houses, The Exorcist another one of my favourites so I loved it. Krampus and Hallween 2 were amazing too. Another thing though was that I started wearing earplugs into the houses last year and it made a HUGE difference! As much as I love HHN and horror I have awful anxiety (about most things) and the noise in the houses makes me panicky (not scared but panicky, it's weird ) so the earplugs made the whole thing so much easier and enjoyable.
