We loved seats 19a and c last year. I’d always go for them, if not available then anywhere downstairs. Especially after reading Helens experience of upstairs not being let off till last on both of her flights! One of my main reasons to book PE is so I can get off the plane ASAP.

Ok, wishing I hadn’t asked now, mixed response 🤔. 19a and c aren’t available. This is v v likely to be a one off travelling PE, will be back to economy thereafter so want to make the most of it:

LOL Mrs Brown, we also said it was a one off but once you have done it I can assure you that you will do it again ! You just have to look out for a bargain nd save a little harder.
Don’t worry too much because I’m sure you will love PE where ever you choose to sit.

So true. We went from Econ to Econ exit seats, then PE and now 50% of the time to UC. It's addictive

I've done both downstairs and upstairs. I would do downstairs for the outbound if I needed to get through to immigration quickly. Otherwise, I felt it was noisier downstairs as I was at the back (19D). That being said on my last few flights I have found it all bar impossible to sleep on the return leg anyway which is very very annoying and I don't know why.
