It feels like Disney are going down the Easyjet route:

"Oh, you'd like to park closer? That's $15 dollars more please."

"Oh, you'd like to book you FPs 60 days in advance? You'll need to stay onsite."

"Oh you want a guaranteed seat for Fantasmic/RoL? You'll need to book a meal with us."

I know that the other parks are just as culpable, but I have always held Disney to a higher standard.

Its nikel and diming Rob. Most US hotels do it, Universal do it too however Disney have traditionally not done it. I've always had a degree of admiration and respect for Disney because they haven't done it. Just like the flaming resort fees they are considering bringing in.

...and there in lies why they have extended the majority of car parks in the last couple of years.
In MK I would pay extra if it avoided me having to contend with the monorail/ferry / bus scenario at the end of a night! For all other parks I'm walking.Even from the furthest point in MK, I'm walking too.

This is really taking the proverbial.

It is certainly making a bit of a line between those who can afford and those who have spent every last cent to actually get there.

Walt, would once more be turning in his grave at this - bit more like Animal Farm - "all animals are equal but more animals are more equal than others"

Not Disney and I think this is an insult to every person who holds a trip to Disney as their Disney Dream holiday.

On another front - I'm not paying $35 to park the bloody hire car:angry:

for an extra $15! - yeah, think id just turn up 10 minutes earlier and get in the park the same time as some lazy tw~t with too much cash. Id expect a personal escort and priority entry or something, no matter how close you park for MK you still gotta get the same monorail or boat as the commoners who can only afford $20 to park, and stand in line with them to!
What else can they do, hmmm perhaps...
...they should put turntables in the toilets like the underground, hell a quarter for a pee pee aint bad.
...maybe charge to sit in the front of the tram?

What's the point when you're walking miles in the park anyway?

We dont pay for parking as we are on site but I wouldn't pay $1 to park closer.

Is the rumour true that they intend charging $50 for you to have the front spot on the Ferryboat to enact the Titanic scene!
