There were two big hints to whistledown. First, knowing marina was pregnant, and second the queens offence that her afternoon tea party wasn’t mentioned; the reason was the featheringtons were thrown out, so Penelope had nothing to write about (unless she had written about their dismissal, and she had done enough to damage their reputation out of heartbreak and spite)
