I meant that if owners make a profit after all fees etc., they will be liable for tax.

On the DVC Members Cruise we obviously met loads of other members. In all the conversations we had not ONE had a clue about buying extra points via the resale market.

There was a special offer on board, buy Aulani at $196, 450 points, get a discount of $20,000(Riviera was $11,000 for the same deal), bringing the buy-in to $151.

DVCResale has these at around $100 a point.

The lowest points holder we spoke to had 600 points, the most 3300. Most owners we spoke to were thinking about adding on. It was an eye opener for sure.

We've just put our 150 Boulder Ridge points up for sale, we may have to increase the price, what a shame

At this rate of increase our 72 Beach Club points could end up being worth more!
