We are looking at a villa in Sandy Ridge, has anyone stayed here and if so what is it like.

We stay here all the time. Only takes us 20 mins to be in the parking lot for disney, very handy for i-4.

Great restsurants and supermarket (publix) just 5 mins drive down the toad at championsgate.

Definately my preferred location in Orlando.

We stayed there last time (in an allocate on arrival villa with BA) - was really lovely.

They have a security patrol, everything feels safe, the community seems very well cared for - neat and tidy, quiet. Plenty of open space and well tended vegetation, really nice community. It is nicely placed for the I4 for Universal and beyond, and for the relatively straightforward road to Disney and the 192. Well served within 5 min drive for supermarkets, takeaways and restaurants.

We found the only thing to watch out for was there were 2 entrances to the community - directions to one of which was given to us by the villa management and the other one by the satnav! Led to a bit of frustrated confusion.

Thank you for the replies, sounds like an area we would stay, I think we will go ahead and book.

Lovely area, the villa we rent backs onto one of the conservation areas, so you aren’t overlooked at all, plus you get the wildlife wandering by.
There’s lots of shops and things nearby, by car not walking.

Have a look at Google Earth before you travel, as there’s lots of roads in the area that keep you away from the I4.
