Hello,

This might sound a little strange to some...

However, I really want to wear something Christmassy for MVMCP but we’ve never been before! Do people usually wear Christmas outfits and if so, is it usually to hot for a sweatshirt or too cold for a t-shirt!?

Thanks in advance!
(I know most attendees probably don’t ever consider this!)

Christmas T shirt or jumper, depending on the weather is the norm. We are going tonight. A new Christmas T shirt for both of us as looking pretty warm before a cooler day tomorrow.

Look in MouseGear for Christmassy t shirts, or wait till you get there and buy the limited edition ones. Or both!

Now this is a super mixed bag . Hardly anyone wore anything Christmassy on the first one BUT it was a wash out. Now last night in mk people had the Disney Mickey onesie on ( dread to think how much it was) or Christmas pyjamas . It’s a real strange one seeing people in pyjamas but the jumper thing just doesn’t seem to be a thing over there. It’s been really cool the past few nights so a t shirt wouldn’t have been any good unless it was a long sleeved version. We e often found people don’t dress up for the earlier Christmas parties though. We took Santa hats . Hope this helps x

Thanks so much for all your responses - still in 2 minds so might have to take a few options and keep an eye on the weather forecast! Seems like such a silly dilemma but knew you dibbers would understand!

We have xmassy tops for when we go! My 6yr old would be in absolute heaven if I said she could wear pyjamas out! 🤣

We went to MVMCP just a few days before Xmas 2 years ago. We dressed up in full christmas jumpers, hats & novelty glasses.

We were definitely not alone!

It is cold watching fireworks though, so I'd recommend jumpers.

I wore a christmassy tee shirt, I'd brought a christmassy sweater as well but Monday was warm enough that I left it behind. As above, lots of the Christmas onesies, spirit jerseys and pyjamas. But also lots of people just in normal gear.
