Ultimate ticket 2020 confusion :(
Hi guys, so sorry if this has already been asked. I normally stay at Disney and book my tickets as a package deal but this time we are in a villa and I booked 2020 14 day for the price of 7 ultimate tickets through travel republic. I've just linked them to My Disney Experience and the 'valid through' date is 14th Jan 2021...we go on 4th Jan 2020. Is this right? Is this some sort of expiration date? Having a panic now that they have somehow booked us the wrong year!
Thank you so much in advance xx |

I think this is fine.
What the 14th Jan 2021 date is referring to (I think) is because the last day you can activate a 2020 ticket would be the 31/12/2020, then the latest a 14 day ticket would expire is the 14/1/2021. As you don’t have a Disney hotel booking then the system doesn’t know when you’re coming, so thats why the expiry date appears as it does. Edit: valid through is the US way of saying valid until.

Valid thru is the American way of saying it's valid until. So yes, expiration date.

No, you're okay and your tickets are valid for 2020. You have the correct tickets.
What it means is that the tickets are valid until 14th Jan 2021. The 2020 tickets can be first used on 31st Dec 2020, which means they have to be valid until 14th Jan 2021 so that someone arriving on New Years Eve 2020 can use all 14 days.
