Well done and congratulations! My aim is to have as many points as Tom (think it’s an impossible dream)! We used Dvc resale market for ours too. Very efficient.

I know one on here has more than me!
50 more I think.
I do so like the credit card statement in the New Year when dues are payable - not!

Sorry if this is a personal question, please just say buzz off if you dont want to say.

How many points do you have and how much do they cost in annual dues, just trying to gather info just in case!

Do you mean me or YorkshireT?

I have 1000 and last year my Dues were $6285.41.

However. Putting aside the initial cost of purchasing where can you stay 10 weeks for that price? Certainly not Disney.

Thanks, I guess the initial outlay can be reclaimed when sold.

Mmm. I paid circa $73 a point so could sell at a decent profit. But in a good few years time they will become worth a lot less and eventually worth nothing as the contract term ends.

It's a balancing act. Sell when right on the cusp before prices fall.

My advice is always to accept you will end up with nothing but with a fair wind you could end up making a bit.

I'm only 40% of this. That is bad. What is good is my dues are 40% also?

I'll have enough for a month in a studio every year in winter when I retire hopefully in about 10 years.

2 months would be nice though...

We have enough to stay in a studio at SSR for 5 weeks each year. We own at the Poly and Copper Creek so tend to stay for less time as those resorts are more pricey on points and we usually stay at our home resorts.

Good news! Do you mind me asking how many points you bought? We’re thinking of adding on a small resale but not sure what resort yet. How many years will you have left on the contract?
