I Know. The highest we have ever paid was the end of September this year, and that was £78.

Update on my thread above yours.. it might interest you. That price was on Expedia (£41).

Hi. Iv'e just tried looking on Expedia, but I'm not sure if I'm doing some wrong. It isn't showing Premier Inn North Terminal at all.

Sorry about delay. Am home from work now!

That price is for the hotel detailed in the post.

You can only, to the best of my knowledge, book Prem Inn on their own site.

I am a big admirer of the Prem Inn product, but agree with you that the price is much too high. I would top out at £75 or so.

You asked about, and seemed open to solutions.. that is why I researched alternatives for your date. With Expedia, I don’t know if your job has associated discounts, but mine, gives me a further 8% if I go through a portal.

Hoping it helps you.

We booked it a whole 12 months out for next May & it was £42 for the night. I know everytime I've done it over 6 months out it more than doubled at least.

I think I must be doing something wrong. I am trying to book for 29th September (Tuesday) and it is still showing £111.

Okay, Iv'e just checked every month from February to October next year. The prices vary from £60 to £83.

However, when looking at the last 2 weeks of September, the prices are £111. As soon as you go into October, the price comes back down to around £80.

Does anyone know if there is something going on in September that would increase the nightly price?
Thanks
James

I don’t know but when I was looking for September this year I couldn’t get below £100, although I had left it quite late.

Iv'e just checked again today and the price has now gone up to a whopping £123.
I really don't know what to make of it. I have never seen prices this high for the Premier Inn North Terminal. It looks like we will have to look at something else.

I may even pay a bit more for one of the 4 star hotels. At least I would feel we were getting something for our money. £123 for a 3 star hotel is crazy.
