After 4 years of waiting we finally have an en-suite again - a small renovation

I must stop giving my husband grief because of now being in the second month of no en-suite !

We were wondering if getting one done to test out a trades person was best, or should be suck it up and shell out for all three rooms together 🙄 Maybe we could negotiate a discount that way.

I did keep reminding Jim of that . I don't think we've argued over anything else as much as we did over the damn en-suite!

Well with our recent experience we would test one out first but hopefully you won't be as unlucky as us. Some trades people really don't do themselves any favours in giving themselves a bad name.

Well you got there in the end, it looks great. I can’t believe they put the sink to the left like that!

Could I ask where you got the sink from, I want to re- do the guest room en suite soon and it would need a very narrow sink like that, I am having trouble finding one.

Thank you! Haha, it’s mains electric powered. We bought it from Costco 4 years ago, I said to Jim as he was putting it up that it better work as it can’t go back now 😂

I know right? Jim kept saying we should just live with it but I couldn’t stop thinking about it being in the wrong place, I was even dreaming about the damn thing 😬
