Cheapest month for a Disney moderate resort?
As above, does anyone know if there are specific months that are cheaper for UK guests? I have had a look and November seems to be slightly cheaper but just wondering if any hardcore Dibbers out there would know? X Thanks!

I think Disney tends to do seasonal pricing rather than month to month. There will be the usual peak periods over Easter, Summer and Christmas. We go September which is one of the cheaper months.

Another Dibber, CosmicGirl, looks at the price brackets and has come up with the following, although it was done when 2020 prices were first released:
A: 5 Jan-31Mar + 23 Apr-23 May + 18 Oct - 2 Nov B: 1-22 Apr C: 24 May - 4 Sep D: 5 Sep - 8 Oct + 3 Nov - 19 Dec E: 1-4 Jan +20-30 Dec From low to high the order of the prices is D A C B E.

To add to this mousesavers give the rack rates for each resort and room type by date.
For example this link shows Port Orleans Riverside mousesavers/2020-por...-season-dates/ Your First Visit is also a good pricing resource and provides graphs, again based on rack rate yourfirstvisit/2019/07/0...price-seasons/ (POR: Blue, CBR:Grey, CS:Orange) Edited at 09:06 AM. |

Some of those are surprising.
Thanksgiving is in the lowest price bracket. This is one of the busiest times at the parks. Spring Break is in the second lowest price bracket. Again, another busy period at the parks. I suppose neither of those two holiday periods apply to UK guests and so the UK prices don't take these into account?

That graph appears to show that, other than January, June and July are the cheapest months at CSR and CBR. Cheaper than, say, September. I would not have expected that!

Yes, they're UK price brackets so will be priced for us and our peak holidays. I'm guessing US price brackets will be different to reflect their peak periods. Makes sense really

I've always assumed (possibly wrongly) that UK pricing was always based on the US rack rate at the time it was set.
I've only ever tracked my own preferred dates over the years and the US/UK sites have always been approximately equal. This probably isn't a big enough sample size of data |
