This is where we are all different, in a villa as detailed on post 1, washing is not an issue, cooking is a must for us and enjoyable, full rack of ribs or some big steaks, brisket on the gas bbq with a cold beer is my idea of relaxing.

Then cleaning, keeping an owners villa clean and respected is a must. I would never dream of not cleaning it or cleaning up after ourself, treat it as your own home.

Dvc member, clothes in washer overnight, tumble dryer as leaving in morning & repeat, takes seconds & we don’t need to take as much stuff (I still do!)
All clean upon our return, bad enough I have to come home, let alone then have piles of washing!

I love washing on our WDW holidays. I’m OCD that I can’t have dirty washing. We stay in DVC and have free laundry.

Pfffft, all is well, yellow pegs first then move on to blue pegs , then mid afternoon you pop your head out of the door and horror of horrors you notice there is one yellow peg amongst the blue ones and one blue peg amongst the yellow ones, how did that happen ? and then you spot his lordship grinning from ear to ear waiting for a reaction , well he certainly got one

To those who don’t wash their clothes whilst on holiday, don’t your suitcases stink of sweat and unwashed clothes? Then the next time you go on holiday you put clean clothes into smelly suitcases? Or do you just go out and buy new suitcases each time?

Ew. No. I can smell suncream and the sea on my suitcase when I get home. It’s since been wiped down and aired out so there’s no smell. Otherwise yes that would be disgusting.. but our clothes really don’t get that dirty! We still shower every day, wear deodorant, and we change clothes twice a day (3x if we go swimming in the afternoon in Florida) so nothing gets worn as much as it would at home

Also if we go to Florida we have actually bought a new suitcase on the last 3 trips.. so that covers it 😂

I got my revenge, I turned the cold water tap on while he was having a shower( unintentionally of course ) 😂 I’m now awaiting payback from that , we have way too much time on our hands 😁
