Amazon 'Questions' - Are People Real?

I quite often as an Amazon customer get an E Mail asking if I can answer a question regarding a product I have bought.

Normally it's things like what is the load bearing capability. Or what are the sizes etc etc.

So this morning I had this!

As a Customer who has bought Happy Belly Ethiopian Coffee can you answer this question?

'' Does it relieve constipation''

So in a day or two you will spot my reply.

I tend to use this coffee to relive my thirst so cannot help regarding your constipation sorry

Sadly these people walk amongst us. Some quite obviously bunged up!

lol! You could have some fun with that sort of question!

(but - for info - a hot drink first thing in the morning is recommended to "speed digestive transit and maintain regularity")

I love the questions like (for example) "Can you sweep floors with this broom?

Answer: Can't answer your question as I haven't tried it yet.

Why do they even bother answering the question?

Tom, there are some seriously weird people in the world that would have loved a positive response to that question. I once tried to sell a perfectly innocuous pair of shoes on eBay and you would not believe the kind of messages I received. I haven't had the courage to sell any since! It takes all sorts, as they say.
