This is going to be AWESOME... we haven't been to WDW for over a decade and this will be our DD (9 when travel) first trip. We did DLP last year with her and were supposed to be there again this year but COVID scuppered that one.

Let the planning commence. We were originally going to try for Feb 2023 to coincide with our 20th wedding anniversary and renew vows but nah.. not doing that anymore..

Going to have to get back into the grove again and keep a track of when to grab a decent flight...

Congratulations 👏

We have also booked for Aug 2022, staying in a villa for 21 nights. We last went in 2006, for our honeymoon so haven't yet taken our kids. DS will be 15 and DD will be 11 when we travel. I'm with you on the excitement front.
I took DD to DLP last year for her 9th birthday and she loved it - I can't waitnl for her to see the 'real thing'.

I look forward to reading about your trip preparation 🥰

We haven’t booked yet but are hoping to go Oct/Nov 2022. Usually go in august but DD will have left school by then so we won’t be tied to school holidays anymore. Am hoping to time it so we see Halloween and Christmas decorations in the same trip.

I can't decide if it's good or bad, but the job I do is 99% spreadsheets everyday...!

I booked yesterday for last week in July/first week in august. I am beyond excited, haven’t told my son yet (he’ll be 9 when we go) but have already ordered a countdown and a Disney planner. We are staying in a townhouse at Windsor Hills. I LOVE a good spreadsheet but I’m totally clueless, I don’t know what rides are there or anything (shameful I know &#128514. I’ve been to DLP but this is massive for me, it’s always somewhere I’ve dreamed of going and finally it’s happening! Any tips (or links to good spreadsheets) would be brilliant!

Thanks and happy planning!

We’re august 22 too, booked it in Jan. couldn’t wait any longer and needed something in the pipeline to look forward too! 1 night Miami, 2 Hard Rock, 2 Pop Century and 11 in a Villa. My 2 best friends of 30 years are coming too. We’re celebrating 4 of us turning 40, our 15th wedding anniversary and our girls turning 16 and GCSE results, so it’s going to be fab! Plus, it’s our one of our friends first ever time, I can’t wait to share the excitement with them 💖💖
