We’ve got firm plans for August 2022 also. We booked a villa for 19 nights followed by a 7 night cruise. Will look out for A BA flydrive around the 11 month mark before we start thinking about Disney and Unversal tickets. Hoping to go out a couple of nights earlier if I can get the extra time off work. We are quietly confidently this trip will happen... but then we was when we booked 2020 and 2021 too 🤞

Excited about Disney

Hard Rock Hotel booked for end May. Disney tickets booked for beginning June. Wanted to make sure could reserve our Disney Parks. Keeping fingers crossed now will get dates with DVC points.
Keeping fingers crossed all goes well as vaccines improved and hopefully quarantine restrictions lifted. 🥺🥺🥺

We were hoping to go this Sept/Oct for 50th anniversary but have decided to push back to 2022 when hopefully things will be much more normal.
We’re also thinking we’ll go in early/mid July this time (my birthday!). Holding out to book anything yet to see if DDP gets offered. Would be great if we can get it as part of a deal but happy to pay out of pocket it needed.

Yes, we needed something to look forward to so just this week have made accommodation bookings for July/August 2022, all fully refundable just in case. 10 nights at Disney, 4 nights on Anna Maria Island and then a week at Universal.
Booked car hire and will keep an eye out for price dropping and cancel/rebook as needed. Hoping to fly from dublin so will look at flights 11 months out. |

We want to go 1st September for 14 nights to CSR with one night out at RPR. We haven't booked anything yet as I'm waiting to see if free DDP is offered. If it's not, we don't really have a back up, which is really sad.
We could stay at a value and pay OOP but because we'll all adults, that's still A LOT of money and way more than we've paid out (pp) in the past. I just don't think it's worth the on site prices unless they offer 'free' DDP. The on site restaurants are as big a part of it for us as the parks now. |
