It is so much easier to have food pre prepped in the freezer! I ought to make stuffing!

i use a packet mix as a base, but then add loads of other stuff, depending on what i have lying around/what needs using up.

usually i made it with less water than the packet says to use, but then i add sausagemeat, garlic, butter and a bunch of herbs and spices that i reckon will complement whatever meat its going with. maybe a few chilli flakes and some worcester sauce too

usually make way too much, so what i dont need, i roll into 1.5" balls, place on a baking tray and freezing, then decanting the frozen balls into a labelled ziploc bag for cooking another time

I really don’t like stuffing at all but then I hate sausages 🤮
OH makes it to have with Xmas dinner but that’s the only time. No idea what’s in it aside from sausage meat and herbs though

I use a packet mix, normally paxo or sainsburys, then add sausage meat, fresh sage leaves and dried chopped apricots. Goes down a storm in our house.

DH makes ours from scratch. Sage, breadcrumbs, butter, garlic, basil, onion, drop of milk, salt and pepper. Sausagemeat added at Christmas for the turkey. It’s delicious 😀

I don’t like my stuffing anywhere near a birds bottom ! Cooked separately. Mine is finely chopped chestnuts from a sachet , onion , seasoning , sausage meat cooked in the oven .
Don’t make it very often though .
