Had a great flight both ways with Thomas Cook. Food was great and the cabin crew were friendly especially to our boys. The only thing I’d say was lacking was the IFE. Even with the upgrade, it wasn’t the most extensive. But I’d definitely fly with them again.

We woke today to an email from BA saying our flights on the 27th of Sept were likely to be cancelled due to strike action. How unlucky is that. We have rebooked with Thomas Cook on virtually identical flights which cost £120 more but with seat selections included so hopefully no major issues. Thankfully.
Have never flown with Thomas Cook before so hopefully everything will be ok. We chose row 29 on the outbound flight which on the Thomas Cook website are shown as normal seats but on the flight guru website these are shown as XL seats. I guess there are a number of seat configs but has anyone flown in this row before? Won't be booking BA again either. Also in the panic to get sorted I have entered my wifes date of bith as mine, the API dates are correct. Hopefully I can change this without issue or charge. What a morning. Edited at 10:20 AM. |

I have flown PE with TC twice now, both times been great and 1k cheaper than Virgin.
Now if TC had gone on strike, there would be uproar here, but because it's BA they get a pass. They are not going bust, they are here for years hopefully, just book with them. |

I can’t believe how many posts there are about Thomas cook! If it’s cheaper and gets you where you want to be then book it! It’s crazy to book your transport based on ife and food! It’s 9 hours of your life, if ife and food are that important take your own!

Saved us over £900 flying with tc in 2017.. we have booked flights for 2a and 3c April 2020 for £1800 including bags etc.
Staff were lovely and so was the food. On the way home we all had a bottle of water, pillow, fresh blanket and newspaper each too. Cant recommend them enough
