Manchester airport terminal 1 to terminal 3

Hello

Is it easy to get from Manchester terminal 1 to 3?

Hubby doing local airport to Manchester with Flybe

Then Thomas cook to Vegas

Hi. We did the Radisson next to T2 to T3 yesterday and that was an easy walk just about all undercover. 10-15 minutes. T1 I think was even closer to T3.

Terminals 1 and 3 are next to each other and linked. Terminal 2 is separate.

It's very easy to walk through to T1 to T3 and vice versa.

No, absolutely no issues!

But we’ve had it work differently the last few times. We got off the Exeter plane in Manchester and there was a bus to the terminal we wanted. No option that I recall to walk (as I would have done). They told us it was to keep us all airside ie one plane to the next without going back through security.

We then always get asked about our bags before getting on the US plane (no idea why, but as it’s happened three times now I don’t think it’s coincidence).

Oh really that would be easier if there was a 🚌

One thing I hated Flybe to Gatwick was going through security again even though had not left the airport.

TC have said the cases just go straight through to Vegas?

Our cases did go straight through, but every time they call our names at the gate, we get asked ‘did you have hold luggage’ we say ‘yes two cases’ and they say ‘ok thanks’.

It’s really straightforward :-)

Doing this route again next Jan if you want me to report back (not sure if your DH goes sooner though).
