Car Hire From Disney...

Hello everyone!

We are sharing a villa with our family next year during our first week, sharing two cars between 7 of us and then onsite at disney for 7 nights and not having a car at all! We are then planning on doing another 5 nights in sarasota where we would like to have a car to drive down from orlando...

My mum seems to think you can pick up a car from disney? Is this the case or if it isnt does anyone know the closest place to pick up a hire car from, with the view to drop it back to the orlando airport before our flight...

Hope this makes some sense!

Thanks in advance

Hi, you can hire from several locations in WDW. WDW Car Care Center has Alamo and National car hire branches. The same at Swan and Dolphin.

We are using ME to get from the airport to our Disney resort and then picking up an Alamo rental from the car care center, vice versa for getting back to the airport.

They offer a shuttle service to and from your Disney resort or any Disney park.

Yes and yes. It's brilliant at the DCC. Ring up the day before and they pick you up in a mini van. Drop off at the airport no problem, no extra charge. Alternatively if you are at Disney on property drop off the day before going home and save money and take the magical express. They run you to your location of choice on property in the mini van.

We did this last year lovely. We were picked up from the Contemporary and taken to the Car Care Centre. We only had it for a week of our 2 weeks stay but you can return it to any other Alamo Centre including MCO x

I used the DCCC on my last stay and doing the same for my upcoming trip. I use the DME to get to my resort, then will pick up a car the day before my 7 day onsite stay ends, so I then have it for the 2nd week of my holiday staying offsite, and then returning it to MCO.

We are doing this for the first time next year. Have 10 nights at bc will get magical express from the airport . We will collect car at disney as we have booked the coast for 3 nights then return to disney the day before. Return the car and enjoy the last afternoon/evening at disney and get the magical express back the next day..

I would use the Alamo car care centre if I wanted to get a car whilst here as opposed to the airport.

However for those interested don't forget Hertz and Avis etc are also located onsite in the non Disney Hotels by Disney Springs.
