Email from tui
Well this morning I had an email from tui saying check onice check twice and check again. It said all paperwork should match your passport. Off I went to check my invoice and it only had our first names on ( here we go again middle name syndrome) off I went to tui shop where I booked and she said as long as I had put information on the Api properly as per passport then that's ok! Anyway I got her to email that across to me. I was in a panic I thought j was going to have to pay for name change. Anyone else had this?

I’m sure when you book they only ask for first and last names and then you just put full names on API. Not sure the full names thing has ever been clarified for the estas 🤔

Hiya TD admittedly not TUI; recently booked this winters trip online via Expedia. Site was specific, full names per pp, so did a bit of research with others, VA request first/surname, 'just to see' I entered hubs first and middle name (per pp, no hyphen) in the first name box, which VA accepted. An Irish TA I've had previous quotes from are also explicit about entering names per passport. Friend booked via Delta a few month ago (phone booking), the agent was very specific, names required exactly per pp's.

This got me checking! Checked our VA tickets which were booked via VH. These have first and last name only so I phoned VH. They confirmed that VA only record first and last name so all ok. Does seem to vary a bit based on previous posters. We are doing twilight check in so API will be captured then. When we did ESTA we did include middle names to match with passport.
Always worth that double/triple check to make sure all is ok before you set off. |

Hi Pans, I apologise if my post wasn't clear, VA did not request names per pp, I simply wanted to see if the first name box would accept hubs first/middle name as per his pp, it did and remained on the form on the following page too.
Names on our B2 visa's are per our pp's, as we're US profiled it must be 100% correct.
