We picked up our pre-order from Morrisons this morning and they had no red cabbage. So popped into Sainsbury's. no red cabbage there either. Decided to try the big Asda and managed to some but there was only a few packs and it took ages to find it.

I don't even like it but my parents do so I was relived to get it.

Asda wasn't too busy but there's so any pallets in the aisle that you couldn't move. They needed a one way system!

We buy red cabbage every year, take a forkful out of it on Boxing Day and usually (ashamed to say) waste the rest of it. Pleased you got it for your parents though, keep them happy 😀

My husband just popped back to Tesco to pick up something from the pharmacy and says to was absolutely rammed and hardly any parking spaces left (it's a huge Tesco Extra). He was fine at the pharmacy, but so pleased we did the shopping last night. Wrapping presents this morning while the kids are out at friends

DH is insistent we go to Morrison’s before Christmas because he saw some of the food on TV and wants to try it.

To get there we either have to go past the town centre or down the motorway so obviously we’re going to go there on the Saturday afternoon before Christmas.

Why do people in this day and age still buy as if the shops are closed for a week? At the most they would be closed for one day only.. So much food gets wasted at this time of year.

9am picked up my Tesco order, car park no different to a normal Saturday. Nipped inside for a few extras and store was quiet.
Having my nails done just and Sainsbury’s was rammed with panic buyers, car park marshals etc.
Feet up now until Boxing Day now.

What's with satsumas?

I know I'm fussy but I really want satsumas.

Can't find them anywhere.
