MNSSHP for free? !

DD has seen something on social media today posted by a (quite understandably) very angry man stating that guest without the wrist bands are being allowed to stay in the parks for MNSSHP, but just aren't allowed to take any treats. Anyone else heard or seen this?

This has happened before. Disney should stop this. No wristband and you should be shown the exit. People pay to go to this event so why should others get it for free. I'd be angry as well.

Last year we saw people trying to hide they had no wristbands, mainly South Americans , they pretended they didnt understand the CMs when guests were asked to raise their arms to prove they had a wrist band and were very reluctant to move, one man near us tried to hide he didnt have a band and was eventually spotted, I was getting so annoyed I was going to say something! I paid 300 dollars for our tickets and you get people trying to stay in the park for nothing, needless to say I bet some succeeded.

It's the same for every event tbh

I thought, and I could well be misremembering, that many years ago they used to close the park a couple of hours before night events and do a sweep of the park getting just about everyone out... and then only admitting event guests back in. Again I THOUGHT I rememebered being escorted to the exit by CMs once because we finished eating at a restaurant into party hours and didnt have a party ticket.

its very easy to do, the check points at certain times are easy to spot and then just avoid

last one we did a few years back, i spoke to a Srn member of management about it, they didnt have a answer and said to empty the park just doesnt work, so they accept a certain % will cheat the system, I even saw a family bragging in front of us about having 3 carrier bags full of candy hung over a stroller ( and i mean WDW carrier bags, not the small trick or treat bags ), seen the fireworks and parade, seen the 7 dwarfs and didnt have tickets, it was 11.30 by that time

I went to the Christmas party in December and we were asked severely times in the queue for seven dwarfs for our tickets. Also when stood on Main Street for the parade. We saw people being asked to leave and being told they could not stand for the parade.

People will always cheat and find a way for free. We have to be honest and realistic this is a family theme park and not a night club where if you dont have a band your asked leave or be physically removed. Could you imagine seeing families and people being dragged out. They would rather lose the revenue than the family image

I'm surprised they had candy to be honest as they're always pretty hot on checking wristbands at the treat stations.

It really annoys me,I feel like I'm the wristband police looking at everyone's wrists.😁
