Well if you go by the countdown date they are going on the 9th August and you can't book a return flight for after the 11th.

Their countdown says 335 days? Which is 23rd July.
Besides no one would create a whole thread for this if they weren’t going in the school holidays, where the cash price will be around £1k.

I miss read the count down and saw 355 days, but boy you got touchy about a simple comment.

Do you work for Florida Masters or related to someone who does by any chance?

Is that a good price? I feel that is a lot for use of 90k Avios points.

Saying that I haven't spent any Avios yet. I have about 40k points. I'm not sure on the best way to make use of these. Is there anyway I can see how many points it takes to travel to Australia for example?

It’s ok when the cash price is around £1k so for those 2 tickets the OP has saved around £1200.
Generally people save up for business/first redemptions.

The taxes/fees to get to Australia are about £550 for economy. Avios 65k-100k dependant upon peak/off peak. So not worth it 95% of the time but maybe a little value over the xmas period.

How much Avios would it cost to upgrade to business/first normally to Orlando?

I don’t know the answer but my u understanding is that you can only upgrade one class, so economy to PE or PE to business
