Where do you eat?

Hi

DH and I will be stopping in All Star Music when we go. We don't have the free DDP. We are wondering what to do about our evening meals.
Many moons ago we drove out to crossroads to eat but i believe that is now closed?
Do people eat their evening meal in the parks or do they drive all the way to I-Drive to eat and then drive all the way back to Disney?
Any advice most welcome
Thanks.

Just back home last week. We stayed at Port Orleans and didn’t have the dining plan. Crossroads area is still alive and well. Lots of good restaurants there and on Vineland Avenue a few mins from Crossroads.
We enjoy eating off site more than at Disney.

We've never stayed on site nor have we been to the parks since 2010 (nor do we ever eat on I-Drive either ) but there's loads of eating options on a 2 or 3 mile stretch of 192 much nearer than I-Drive I guess.

Manny’s, Longhorn, Olive Garden, Bahama Breeze, Texas Roadhouse, Red Lobster, Joes Crab Shack, Bonefish Grill, Outback, Carrabbas, Millers Ale House, Cracker Barrel, Sweet Tomatoes, Red Robin, Applebees, Hooters - bound to have missed a couple

From all star I’d head to the 192 or the 535 / lake Buena Vista

But we eat onsite as well. Maybe 50/50 onsite cs off depending on our plans. We wouldn’t leave a park to drive off site just to eat.

If we want to eat offsite, we tend to head to the 192. Our favourites are Longhorn, Millers, Texas Roadhouse, Sweet Tomatoes, Ford’s Garage and Manny’s.
