Northern European DCL 7 Night Cruise
Hi Everyone,
Looking for advise around the 7 Night Cruise on Disney Cruise line starting in Copenhagen, 1. How many nights would you stay in Copenhagen prior to the cruise to get the most of the city/Area 2. Would you recommend Hiring a car ? 3. Is Airbnb a good option in Copenhagen? 4. Any highlights not to miss by way of tours on the cruise? Sorry for all the questions, as seasoned Floridian visitors and Cruising in the states I feel some what inadequate in this area … The Baltics …. |

I’m doing the north Europe cruise this August but I goes in and out of Dover, however I was just reading a trip report by 1972 who did one out of Copenhagen last year and spent a few nights sight seeing first. It might be worth a read? Hopefully this link works. https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/sho... php?t=1098047

We're doing the Fjords next year but out of Dover.
We did the Med cruise from Barcelona in 2017. We started with 3 days at DLP for the 25th anniversary of the park. Then got a train from Paris to Barcelona (absolutely beautiful views). We had one night in Barcelona though with hindsight I would have liked more. On return we got a taxi straight to the airport. There are some DCL cruise videos on YouTube that start with Copenhagen, that could give you some ideas.

Definitely public transport or walk - it's a lovely place. We stayed in a hotel but friends did Air BnB and all was great. We stayed for 2 days before the cruise, that was enough for us.
Great place.
