Wagamama have really gone downhill in recent years I think. Or maybe it’s because we have a lot of more authentic Japanese ramen places near us now. Tonkotsu is a brilliant little chain. Hare and Tortoise too.

I would agree- we used to love Wagas but last time we went I was really unhappy with my yaki soba. One prawn cut into 4 and a maybe half a small chicken breast in it!

The Gyoza are still yummy though

if you have an asian supermarket near you, try the freezer section there. in notts, we have asiana, and they have a huge selection of gyoza, both fresh in the fridge section, and frozen ones

asianaltd/asiana-stores

if you don't have a dumpling steamer (a few quid from the same place for a 3 tier bamboo one), and like them a little crispy, do them in a nonstick frying pan with some water and some oil, and put the lid on to steam, then when the water is mostly gone, take the lid off and fry to crisp them up.

also, if you have costco membership, the ones they have there are pretty good too...

Cheesecake Factory has yummy pot stickers! Alas, the nearest location is Mall at Millenia. I've never tried them at Miller's and never even noticed them on the menu. Next visit, imma trying me some Miller's pot stickers.
