Ask for a jug of ice cold water when you arrive and drink a glass before you open the menu, it will take edge off your hunger. Sparkling water is great for this.

Try and avoid the bread basket.

Stick to low calorie alcoholic drinks, such as prosecco, avoid sugary cocktails.

Swap carbs for salad without dressings in main courses.

Avoid creamy sauces, especially on vegetables

Also, don't worry if you put a little weight back on, you are aiming to loose a lot of weight in a fairly sort space of time and your body will still be adjusting

Not true
It's simply calories in Vs calories out
Doesn't matter when you eat them

I second this! I'm 5ft 9 and started out at 14st 11lbs and am now 11st 9lbs simply by scrapping carbs in favour of higher protein and fat intake. The mental clarity you get from not eating sugar and having sugar crashes is something you won't believe until you experience it. The added bonus is of course that body fat shift very quickly. My visceral fat was in the dangerous range and is now way in to normal and I've lost 4 inches around my waist.

On holiday, I will eat pretty much what I like (carbs included) and then on my return will go back to low carb/keto.

Combine keto with a 16:8 fast and the weight will drop off.

Try the Asian chicken lettuce wraps from Tomorrowland terrace in Mk! They’re so so good. I lost 7 stone between June last year and March this year with SlimmingWorld. Having a summer break then going back in September to get to my 10 stone target for next April when I’m doing the Star Wars 5k. I had lots of fruit but just had what I wanted on hols knowing I could get it off easily! Enjoy your hols

You can eat as healthy as you want when in Florida. We are staying offsite but generally our fridge is stocked with grapefruit, eggs, cereals, lots of water and a few snacks including the beer and Prosecco! Having said that, I always try to sneak in a bit
Of exercise even if it is a few gym sessions or a swim in the pool. I would say sugar is the biggest. Stereotypically carbs is the devil however being on a holiday where you will be walking loads you need the energy plus to enjoy yourself! I love eating steak
So always tend to opt for a fillet or rump as opposed to ribeye with the fat and any chicken has to be breast with no skin etc.

If you get the opportunity to dine offsite, you should give sweet tomatoes a bash? It is my absolute fave and they have some delicious soups and a wide array of salad dishes.

Most of all enjoy your holiday!
