Q: Am I better off faffing about and getting an uber back to the hotel and go on the bus, or shall I just spend a few hours walking around springs, and then just get an uber straight to MCO from springs? By-passing the bus altogether.

Thank you x
I don't understand why you would go to Disney Springs just to check in, I would just bring my bag to the airport with me. I probably also wouldn't want to hang around DS all morning getting hot and tacky and then have to get on a plane for nine hours.

This year, we asked for late checkout, went to Hollywood Studios for a couple of hours, back to the hotel, showered, finished off packing, checked out and went for lunch.

As above.. Bypass ds and just take your cases on the bus.

Why waste time and money in uber costs

This is what I do and it's so easy. No faffing around. Check out, dump suitcase with bell services and go somewhere for a few hours.

If I wait till airport check in though, will I still have my seat I have reserved? I've got this constant panic that someone else will get my seat. (and I've got a good one in my opinion. PE 19D).

You can do online check in the day before from a phone or tablet.

Why is it tragical?

I plan to do DS check in by taxi and return to Hotel on a bus. get DME about 11am (you can request a slot) have a stroll bagless round MCO, lunch at the Hyatt and check in when it opens. All I need to do at Disney will be done in the previous 13 days.

It is very unlikely you will be thrown out of your reserved seat. And if that is going to happen, it will happen anyway.

It's magical when it takes you to Disney, but tragical when it's taking you to the airport to fly home
