Mobile Valet parking etiquette (off site)

We are staying 3 nights in Fort Lauderdale and the hotel only has valet parking. Does anyone recommend any etiquette for collecting the car/dropping off and tips for each/either?

If we are in/out a few times a day do you tip both times each time? Thanks

I don't know if it is correct etiquette but I tipped $3-5 when collecting, but didn't tip when dropping off. I only took the car out once each day.
I did a google search and if I recall correctly, it said it was ok to tip once, twice or not at all, so I went with middle ground.

No idea if it's correct etiquette, but DH tips about $3 each time the valet collect the car, but nothing on drop off, and about $10 when they load the luggage into the car/unload the bags.

I never tip on drop off. $3 when they bring it back. $4 if it's hammering down and I feel sorry for them!

Last time I went was 2012 but used Valet parking everywhere I could, tipped $5 each time picking up.

Edited at 05:44 PM. Reason: Clarified picking up car only
